• Disappointed

  I went to salon Maier after reading reviews on this site. Staff were friendly although I found the premises cramped and lacking in privicy. (I could have waited for a cubicle but as I had already been waiting for nearly an hour I declined this offer!) The wig I wanted was not in stock but I was assured it would be delivered in 2 - 14 days. It was over one month, and several phone calls later before it arrived. Within a few weeks I was dissatisfied with the condition of the wig and returned to the salon. The attitude of the staff was not very helpful but eventually they agreed to return it to the manufacturer. Again it was nearly five weeks and many phone calls, before the wig was returned. I paid alot of money for the wig and I found the way I was passed from one person to another, promised return phone calls not returned etc ., very upsetting. I have since experienced a much more professional experience at another Manchester salon and would not recommend Salon Mayer to anymore until they get themselves much more organised.

• Just Perfect

  After feeling nervous and embarrased my Mum almost had to drag me into Salon Maier ! I have never felt so at ease and welcome in a wig shop. The quiet helpful and understanding nature of the staff was wonderful. Thankyou for making this usual traumatic experience perfect. I am thrilled with my beautiful wig thankyou from the bottom of my heart xx Claire

  Iwas refered to this salon by the N.H.S. and I must admit I expected basic and old fashioned products , but I thought "in for a penny!" , what a surprise I got as I entered the salon it was welcoming the lady who assisted me in my choice of wig could'nt have been more helpful and just as important simpathetic to my embarrassing scalp condition ,and I felt at ease the whole time I was there 10 out of 10 Salon Maier !!!!!

  I used Salon Maier because I was looking for something different. The staff were excellent they helped me to pick a style that suited me, I would use them again and pass their details on to friends and family.

• just to say thank you

  my son is just approaching high school, he doesnt were a wig just a hat but this tends to get pulled off so i will be adding the tape to the hats that should baffle them and he can have the last laugh, so thank you from Dale and mum for being there for us. xxx

• Thankyou Salon Maier

  I have only been wearing wigs for just over a year. I've bought three wigs from Salon Maier and always find the staff friendly, sympathetic and dicreet. They are good listeners too as to the styles and colours i have in mind and advise me to which suite. They have also been very helpful with the after care too and never make me feel a niusence with any questions i call them with.

  An excellent service, staff very helpful and considerate. As somebody who was quite new to the whole wig buying scenario the staff at Salon Maier made the whole process much easier and gave lots of helpful advice!
