  Now out of action (no front teeth!) I am teaching my grandson to play. He is still waiting for his first visit to WW & Co - the only people I used to trust near my oboe. This is a great shop, and I can't wait to meet Don & Eddie again.

  the only people i would trust with my sax. These guys really know what they're doing, and will fix it on the spot if it's a small job. With fare prices, and a great reputaion.

• Quality Work

  Productive chaos greets you when you enter the Woodwind&Co workshop in Cadishead. Dismembered saxophones, half-assembled clarinets, broken bassoons and such like. Some people may find this disconcerting, but you can really rest assured that your woodwind instruments gets top-quality service here! The shop's proprietary ""superpads"" work as well as advertised, they really transform an instrument's performance, and all at a fair price. You can also choose from a range of new woodwind instruments here. Worth travelling a long way to. Big parking lot right next to the shop.

  Anyone who owns a woodwind instrument and lives in the north-west can have the privilege of using Woodwind & Co. for purchases and repairs. Obliging, honest(!) and incredibly knowledgeable. Their love of the instruments means you can't go wrong when using them. Eddie Ashton keeps my oboe in great condition. Anything to do with a woodwind instrument, this is the place to contact. I wouldn't touch anywhere else these days.
