About Us

Baby & AdultWater awareness classes for babies from 3 months old in the comfort of a familiar adult's arms. Learning to be comfortable in the water including under water swimming and breath control. Classes are for a maximum of 6 pairs for 30 minutes. Toddler & Adult For children aged 18 months and above. Introduction to swimming strokes through play with toys and music. Classes are for a maximum of 6 pairs for 30 minutes. Children's Group Lessons. These groups cater for all age groups and abilities. Swimtime run courses which generally fit in with the school calendar. These are usually 6 week courses. Each lesson would be for 30 minutes at beginner and improver levels extending to 40 minutes for the more advanced swimmers. There should be a maximum of 10 children per class. Children 1:1 Lessons For those children requiring more individual attention. They might be extremely nervous or need extra work on particular swimming strokes. It may be that group lessons do not suit every child and some parents feel their child will learn quicker with individual attention. Having 1:1 lessons lessops can speed up your child's progress with their stroke and confidence in the water. Class duration 30 minutes. Children Mini Groups A child may progress better in a smaller group of 3 or 4 children. Swimtime can arrange mini groups for friends or siblings of a similar ability or we can create groups as required. We will also arrange to teach at your own home - if you have your own pool of course ! Class duration 30 minutes. Insurance Swimtime has a fully comprehensive and up to date insurance policy (to a value of ?10 million) which is endorsed by the ASA and provided by the IoS Institute of Swimming.
