Oxford Street, The Palace opened on 18th May 1891 to an audience awaiting the ballet production of 'Cleopatra'. Today it has managed to continue showing a wide range of shows and performances to theatregoers.
National Railway: Manchester Oxford Road
I really like going to the theatre and try to get there at least once a month and this is a really great place to go. For anyone who is not sure where it is it is located on Oxford road just off Whitworth Street opposite Sainsbury’s local. It has loads of different shows on all the time and is reasonably priced and to get it even cheaper go to the matinee and make a day of it. Refreshments are on sale and are reasonably priced. It has such a wide variety of performances going on so I am sure you will find one which is suitable. It is also very nice on the inside considering it has been open for so long. Definitely worth trying it out if you have never been before.
