boxer dog

my boxer dog got ran over we was devastated, we took him to our nearest vet and he was seen and treated thankfully he was'nt that badly injured but since he has had to be surdated a number of times and it has cost us up to now �£640 and still needs more treatment i was just wondering if this is right as i am worried that to much could do him some harm they still want to see him again on monday and again on thursday to be put to sleep again both times please can you let me know if this is right. thank you
