• Shocking service from these unorganized cowboys!!

  Took my car there and it turned out it needed to be scrapped. They talked me into giving them my log book, would not issue a receipt for the scrapping and 3 months later i find my car has not been scrapped. Now the DVLA are asking me to tax my car - trying to get any information out of G E Sparkes is impossible. They run two systems a paper based system and a computer based system that do not tie up - a different piece of info every time you ring up. The second time i phoned them about my car (six weeks after it was meant to be scraped) it was revealed to me that my details where not even on their computer system yet and neither was the £200 investigative service I had done prior to the scrapping - Do you really want to deal with a company like that???!!! In addition the manager/owner is arrogant and a compulsive liar with no interpersonal skills. If i do not get the info from the company within the next day i will be getting a big fine from the DVLA for not taxing my car and being
