    Earth is a busy daytime cafe (open till 7 pm) with service from the counter, lots of regulars and a warm, friendly atmosphere. The food's great - a couple of hot main courses every day, plus soups, salads and snacks. Juices and smoothies are made fresh to order, and there are surprisingly gooey and chocolatey cakes for a vegetarian restaurant. Worth mentioning that although the cafe is in the basement of the Buddhist Centre, it does have a separate entrance and different opening hours, so check the websites carefully if you want to take in both.

  • 4 Veggie Feast

    Quiet little Vegetarian/Vegan Cafe, hidden away in the Northern Quarter. Excellent, nutritious and creative cuisine. Not cheap, but worth it. Limited opening hours.
