A M C Cinema boasts 16 screens and shows the latest movies. Snacks and refreshments are also available.
A great cinema - not fully packed except on Orange weds or some weekends, an ideal place to go if you want o find a good seat and have a comfortable view of a high quality screen. The place is only a few years old so doesnt have so much of the usual gummed up floors or creaky /broken seats. The prices are the usual but you can get your Orange weds discounts to make it more worthwhile. Defintely the recommended place to go in Central/South edge of Manchester... less busy than the Printworks, much more up to date than the trusty old Showcase (first multiplex in Manc iirc?)
A good idea, but its too far away from anywhere of interest.Ok maybe that’s not so true, but its not often I’ve ever wanted a night out coupled with a film, usually either / or. So for me, it’s a bit of a pain having to make the walk down deans gate to this cinemas. It is in a big old complex and always appears to be in the process of becoming something else, restaurants and bars around it close and reappear almost weekly. But as cinemas it is good and clean, although almost always empty! It shows a lot of films and seems to run them longer than other places, but I’d try and visit the filmworks if you want a decent cinemas before checking this one out, its much better and food works out a lot cheaper!

This is the only cinema I go to in Manchester, simply because it's so much cheaper than anywhere else, which as a student can only be a good thing! 2 for 1 as a student with orange on Wednesdays makes it dirt cheap! They show recent films and have lots of screens so there's always plenty to choose from. The seats are incredibly comfy too, much comfier than most cinemas I've ever been to. Food is normal cinema prices. It’s easy to find from Oxford Road as well. So plenty of time for a bite to eat in Manchester before if you like.
This place is strange - it's big, cheap, great location, yet it's mostly empty!By the time you've walked from the street to the ticket office you've only made half the walk - pity there's nothing in the building that's of any use when you go to the AMC.The prices are great, compared to the Odeon, and sign up on the AMC website for a reward card that gets you free popcorn and drinks or discounts on certain days - you simply rack up points by swiping every time you buy tickets. You can book online and collect at the machine to save time, and they will validate your parking so it's either free or damn cheap (I can't remember now!).

This cinemas fine, nice central location on Deansgate and unusually you can get discounted car parking. It’s close to the casino and the Hilton and there are lots of arcade games and stuff in the cinema building too. The promotions for students are good and the films they have are always up to date. It’s never too busy which is great because you hardly ever have to book. The snacks at the cinema are quite pricey, but you find me a cinema where they aren’t . The seats here are also so cool because the arm rest between the seats lifts up so that you can either take up more room, or have a cuddle with your partner (if that’s what you want!)
brilliant cinema never gets too busy discount car parking and cinema ticket offers.
