  I have read the two reviews below and quite frankly im shocked. I hired the Rolls Royce Phantom from brentwood in August 2010 and the service was second to none. They took a big deposit over the phone which i paid with my credit card, and actually arrived at my house ON TIME, chauffeured me to my venue and back home, waited patiently for hours during the ceremony, and was a very pleasant person also. I would definitely deal with these guys again. I have recommended them to my friend also.

• Wedding Car Hire Dissapointment

  We paid Brentwood Hire a £350 deposit for their Rolls Royce Phantom and they let us down on our wedding day. In our experience they did not respond to any phone calls or emails approaching our wedding and then when reaching 6 weeks before our event date they voided our booking and said that we didn't make full payment in time. We didn't find this out until the last minute... we trusted them to deliver. Instead they voided our booking without telling us. We had to find another wedding car at the very last minute and at a premium rate. After our wedding I sent two letters recorded delivery and they were returned to me because there was nobody at their address to sign for them!!!!?? I managed to get my deposit back after weekly phone calls to a staff member's mobile phone number, but it took months to get the money back. We are very dissapointed with this company and still upset over a year later.

• Absolute Cowboys Operating Numerous Bogus Businesses

  Be aware of the following - Brentwood Hire Chauffeurs Brentwood Letting Ltd Homelet UK Recognized the business from the given address and phone number after a google search. They took a deposit for chauffeur hire for a Rolls Royce Phantom and then canceled before the event claiming that the car had a fault and needed to be serviced, we never got the deposit back. Sounds genuine but when you delve into where the business is based it doesn't exist albeit a Contracting company called Mahoney Contracts is registered to this address - probably a cowboy plumber as well!! These people are genuine crooks who have been able to advertise in legitimate sources - BEWARE AT ALL COSTS
