Based in the centre of Manchester close to the BBC and MMU buildings FM Laptop Repairs services the needs of the huge student population in addition to providing advanced techincal support to the other small computer repair shops in the area. We carry a large range of spares in stock to reduce the turn around time (no waiting for the part to come in). If you have any kind of problem with a laptop we can repair it. Viruses removed, software problems fixed. Replacement screens, keyboards, hard drives, etc etc. We're the best, dont bother with the rest.

  • 1 shame I couldnt leave 0 stars !

    Took my laptop in as the case had been cracked 12 months ago, other than hat the machine worked fine. Case replacement cost 60 pounds, and took 1 week, however on return my wireless card no longer worked. returned to fm laptops to have the problem fixed, which took almost a week, however now the mother board shorts out if you press on the case in several places . returns again on the understanding I needed my laptop back in 48 hours, was told it was a dry solder joint (unlikely I work in electronic design). Was told I couldnt have the machine back as it was on test and would need an hour to re assemble, however I insisted, owner became aggressive and returned it with the wrong power supply that now does not work AVIOD. PS I marked my case to se if it had been opened, and it hadnt !!
