  I own a tenanted property and recently called in Johnson and Sons when the existing boiler broke down beyond repair leaving the tenants without heating and hot water. Dave came out at very very short notice to appraise the situation and advise on a replacement. He gave me a very competitive price for a replacement comi-boiler and rearranged his own schedule to get the new boiler up and running as soon as was practicable. The work was carried out in a very professional manner and he kept all parties fully informed at all times. The tenants are very happy with the end result and both myself and the tenants would gladly recommend Johnson and Sons to any prospective customers.

  Great job at very short notice. A whole system installed within 4 days and just before christmas 2010 wow! Very pleased with the end result and would recommend highly. So much cheaper than British Gas too! A huge thanks to Dave and his team.

  I decided to 'go for it' and have a new boiler, radiators and bathroom suite. Dave project managed the whole job and got all the relevant tradesmen in at the appropriate time. (And they cleared up after themselves!!) It was a big job, well done and at a very reasonable price. It was great to hand it all over to someone who knew what was required and to end up with it all completed.

• Gas Boiler Replacement

  I needed a new gas boiler to replace my ancient inefficient freestanding one. I had no recommendations. All I knew was I didn't want to use Briitish Gas. I phoned Johnson & Son because they were local. Dave came round promptly, surveyed the site, gave me lots of advice, and a very reasonably priced quote. He seemed an honest and friendly sort of guy and I felt no need to look elsewhere. And how right I was. It was a difficult installation of a combi-boiler in an old house. He and his assistants showed every consideration and did a great job. The house is warmer, the heat more controllable due to the great remote control thermostatic device he recommended, and I reckon I'll save over £300 per year in fuel costs. I'll use J&S for all my future plunbing requirements and I recommend him wholeheartedly to everyone.

  I have used Johnson and Sons on a couple of occasions now and would not hesitate to recommend them. They have been really reliable, efficient and helpful and I consider their charges to be fair and reasonable. I left them to install a new central heating system and then-next a bathroom repair job. Finally they sorted out my problem kitchen sink. Each time the job was done quickly and well.

  i called johnson and son to give me a quote for a replacement boiler he was very good and gave me a lot of useful advfice he was not the cheapest and not the dearest but im glad i chose them as they were very curteous and treated my house with respect oh and very clean

  i had a leak comming from the ceiling i called 3 or 4 plumbers but only johnson and son could come right away and he did within the hour and fixed the problem before anymore damage was caused thank god for johnson and son plumbers
