What a great pub !!!!!!

Visited The Courtyard a few times now . It's just off Oxford road on Chester Street , Under the Manchester Student Village. Now here's why this place is soooooo good....... It has a massive beer garden , and a roof that covers half of beer garden with heaters. Must be 60 tables in the beer garden . The beer is good and the prices are the best around . A pint of Carlsberg , Becks and Somersby cider starts at £2.15 !!! Yes £2.15 20 plus cocktails from £2 . Cask ale also served which included Black Sheep and other guest Ales. I would rate the cask as as good as anywhere in the city. Food is very good value and surprisingly good !! Lots of burgers etc (very good quality burgers I must say ) Staff were very friendly and considering its always busy the bar seems well managed . Door staff are very friendly which makes such a refreshing change these days. Lots of students and young professionals and locals and all mix good together which in a very nice safe happy atmosphere. Really good honest pub which puts alot of other places to shame. Opens at 9am for breaky and closes at 1am to 2am. Has pool tables and a duke box and free wifi and Xbox. Well done The Courtyard !!! Great place to meet you're friends. And great prices !!!!!!!
