Estate Agents in Manchester
Suite 520 Piccadilly House
My daughter used this company not so long ago and I was disgusted by the shocking level of service and the arrogance of the managing director whose out of office reply actually reads 'unfortunately for you, I am out of the office...' On moving into their property my daughter and her flat mate discovered that the phone line was not connected as they had been told by the managing director who took them to view the property. They felt they deserved an explanation and apology for this but otherwise there was nothing they could do as contracts had already been signed. A few weeks later the front door lock broke and my daughter was locked in the property. She called the agent several times but he brushed her off every time telling her he didn't manage that property and she would need to speak to the landlord directly; a man who lived in Cambridge and whose details she didn't have. My daughter had to phone me to explain the situation and ask if I would call the agent on her behalf, which I did and had to stress the health and safety risk he was taking in leaving her trapped in her apartment. He had a locksmith there within the hour, so as it turned out it clearly was within his power to resolve the situation. I was appalled by the attitude and lack of professionalism of the man running this company. Estate agents are supposed to provide a service, not simply take your money and leave you in the lurch when something goes wrong with the property. The fact that this man had the gaul to be rude on top of this is shocking. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before using this company.
